I subscribe to Patter Cross' blog. I signed up to participate in her Scripture challenge for the year. Sadly I'm woefully behind!
Yesterday's post showed her LO for an Our Daily Bread Designs challenge. She used the verse in Zephaniah 3 and made a beautiful card. I've never participated in those challenges as they seem to be for paper scrappers (and boy howdy do they create some gorgeous stuff!), but this verse called to me, so I decided to play.
The instructions were as follows:
ODBD Challenge Team brings you a recipe to work with! Your challenge is to use three of the items from the F.L.O.W.E.R. recipe below on your creation:
F: flowers
L: lace or lacing
O: ODBD stamps, ovals, or embellishments w/circle shapes including gems, pearls, brads, eyelets
W: watercolor
E: embossing
R: ribbon
S: stitching (faux or real)
Mine includes F, W, R & S
Credits: All elements and papers from 'Funny Kitchen' by Ninie Designs @ Digital Crea. Fonts free at www.fontsforpeas.com I used Pea Biggio and Pea Cassie. Verses from NIV (3:14) and New Living Translation (3:17)
