First, pics of my nephew Weston, an all around great guy :)

When I saw this next kit with ocean pics, Jonah came to mind. I thought immediately of the cost of following Christ. We tend to think in terms of the costs involved in following Him, and sometimes these seem dear. But what has been resonating in me of late is the cost of NOT following. :)

As I saw this kit on heroes, I thought about the fellowship of the saints and the encouragement we are to receive from those who have made the journey before us. After recounting story after story of lives lived by faith in chapter 11, the writer of Hebrews concludes: Since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us" (Hebrews 12:1, New Living Translation). Amen.

I had a lot of fun :) The last LO was my first attempt at a perspective layout without using a template. I realized that what I've done is not great for a hallway, which was my thought. But, you gotta start somewhere ;->
